Last week Liverpool have been linked with a move from Dinamo Zagreb end Marco Pjaca, which was part of the Croatian national team in the European Championship.
But the 21-year-old, the attention has attracted would, AC Milan and Fiorentina, and the Reds, then said with Inter Milan will come to an agreement.
But now insists Vukelic Marko Zagreb sporting director that the race to sign Pjaca remains open.
"The boy was very clear through his Facebook that it reached an agreement with Inter, and he's still a player of Dynamo Zagreb", Vukelic FCInterNews said. "It is now on vacation. It is then available to us, but there are few opportunities with other clubs like Inter."
Also of interest to fans of Liverpool, he suggested that the move to England could be imminent for the general, the creator of expert game.
"What I say is that their future in the Premier League seems to be, and there are clubs in pole position to sign," Vukelic said.
This strange saga under the radar is unlikely to end with a move to Anfield, but it is interesting that the only team in the Premier League Pjaca has always been linked to Liverpool. So even if it as a club official sounds a bidding war to start, perhaps Jürgen Klopp has a genuine interest in the measure, in the region in the coming weeks. Or not.
