Chief Executive Richard Scudamore Premier League has become the latest resistance to the idea of bringing "European Super League" to express to replace the Champions League.
The idea has been discussed a lot, as I stood up from the American billionaire Stephen Ross again, the company relevant international sports preseason Champions Cup results was a meeting with the clubs began negotiations on a new European competition.
A European Super League would be the most popular teams in the world for a continental title fight, without having to qualify through the national competition.
But Scudamore stressed that it would support a competition of this kind and said that the first four clubs in the Premier League will continue to participate in the Champions League.
"If the country in the first three places in the Champions League and is as simple as that," he said. "The idea that you could score in a number of years on average seems just ridiculous."
Scudamore ruled out any possibility at the end of the regular season to use the Playoffs Premier League.
"The reason is we have no playoffs that we gain a pure competition. The winner and bottom ends relegated," he said. "Harsh though it is, plain and simple, everyone understands and is part of our core values. The reason why we do not need the playoffs is that we have a mini-competition in the second third, fourth, fifth.
"There are 10 clubs [] concern about the decline and 10 try to get the European courts and therefore needs no change."
